Team Wasaga Launches Re-election Campaign
Mayor Brian Smith and five council candidates have officially launched their re-election campaign under the message "Let's Keep it Going."
Team Wasaga is proud to officially launch its 2026 municipal election campaign with a shared commitment to continue building on the progress made over the past four years.
Led by Mayor Brian Smith, the team brings together experienced local leaders who have worked collaboratively to deliver meaningful results for Wasaga Beach residents. Together, Team Wasaga is seeking another mandate to continue delivering responsible leadership, thoughtful growth and practical solutions for the community.
Over the current term, Wasaga Beach has experienced significant momentum. Major investments have strengthened healthcare, expanded affordable housing, improved roads and infrastructure, enhanced parks and community spaces, and supported long-term planning for future growth. New schools, expanded commercial investment and improved municipal services are helping position Wasaga Beach for continued success.
The campaign's message is simple: Let's Keep it Going.
Each member of Team Wasaga is running as an individual candidate, while sharing a common vision for the future of the community. Residents will continue to hear directly from each candidate throughout the campaign as they discuss local priorities, meet with voters and outline their plans for the next four years.
