Over the past four years, Wasaga Beach has seen significant progress across healthcare, housing, infrastructure, economic development and community services.
Working together, Team Wasaga has helped secure major public and private investment, bringing new opportunities and long-term benefits to residents.
Highlights from this term include the reopening of the community's Walk-In Clinic, recruitment of new physicians, new affordable housing, expanded transit, improvements to roads and parks, investment in emergency services and long-term planning that will guide responsible growth for years to come.
The community has also seen important progress toward two new high schools, expanded retail opportunities, long-term care, tourism investment and waterfront revitalization.
These accomplishments represent years of collaboration, planning and advocacy with local partners, the County of Simcoe and the Province of Ontario.
While there is still important work ahead, Team Wasaga believes the progress made during this term has created a strong foundation for the future.
